Strike Lock with Smartthings

This solution will show you how to set up Popp Door Opener Controller with Smartthings.

Connect the Strikelock to a voltage source for the first time. 

Follow the instructions of the device.

Manual Strike Lock Control

Add to Smartthings

1. Open your Smartthings App
2. Change to Devices
3. Add + (corner up right)
4. Tap Add device
5. Choose by brand
6. Scroll down and choose POPP
7. Choose Lock
8. Tap on POPP Strike Lock Control  - EU Region
9. Follow the instruction on the display 
   1. Tap on Start
   2. Press the button of Strike Lock Control short. (Led blinking fast)
   3. Press Done

Setting in Smartthings

Before the device can be used, it must first be set up.

To do this, proceed as follows:

1. Tap on POPP Strike Lock in your SmartThings App
2. Tap to 3 point menu (cornor up right)
3. Tap on Settings
4. Tap on LockOperation
   • Add Value to: 
   • 0 = Lock will open, and immediately close
   • 1 = Lock will automatically close based on the lock Timeout time set below
   • Tap on Save
5. Tap on UnlockTimeoutSeconds
   •  Add time in Seconds (5 seconds)
   • Tap on Save
6. Tap on UnlockTimeoutSeconds
   • Add time in minutes (0 minutes)
   • Tap on Save

Note that you must re-enter all values for it to work.

If you have done all this, you can now install the device.

To do this, follow the manual of the device again.
