This article describes how to connect the thermostat to the Aeotec Smart Home Hub via Matter over thread.
1. Install the device as described in the instructions.
2. Open the SmartThings app on your mobile phone
3. Switch to Devices
4. Tap on ( + ) in the top right corner
5. Tap on Add device
6. Tap Add for partner devices
7. Tap on Matter
8. Scan the QR code

9. Now turn the thermostat to "OF" and press the dial for 3 seconds.
10. the SmartThings app will inform you that it is not a certified device, confirm with continue.
11. After successful pairing, assign the name and confirm with OK.
- If the connection attempt is not successful, reset the thermostat to factory settings and carry out the steps again.
